  Museums

Whether they are used to gather background information or as display pieces, historical documents such as intimate love letters, old photographs and personal diaries, form the foundation of any inspiring exhibition.

The Historical Research Agency can source and collate material for interpretation by museum professionals for forthcoming exhibitions. It has also recently project managed volunteers researching the history of past inhabitants of No. 1 Royal Crescent, Bath, now a museum administered by the Bath Preservation Trust.

  Media

Detailed historical research often forms the core of many television documentaries and films with an historical theme. The Agency researched suitable candidates for the social history documentary Green and Pleasant Land, produced by Testimony Films for Channel 4, and also helped to research the history of the Circus, one of Bath's famous landmarks, for the BBC seriesBritain's Best Buildings. The agency is experienced in realising producers' wishes, providing clear and concise information taken from archival material.
